Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis picked up exactly where he left off after last season’s incredible postseason breakout.

In Sunday’s win over the Miami Dolphins, Davis went back to his old ways. Quarterback Josh Allen consistently found Davis open in space for huge gains in clutch situations.

Davis finished the Bills’ wacky Wild Card win with six catches for 113 yards and this touchdown.

It was in last year’s AFC Championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs when Davis burst onto the scene. He finished that contest with eight catches for 201 yards and FOUR touchdowns.

However, Davis struggled to find that second gear in the 2022 regular season. Davis exceeded 100 receiving yards just once prior to Sunday’s reemergence.

That being said, big-time players make big-time plays in big-time games. And Davis, nicknamed Big Game Gabe, has proven to be a player who saves his best efforts for the Bills’ biggest moments.

Going forward Davis is going to command attention from opposing secondaries, which helps create opportunities for Stefon Diggs.

With Davis’ game-breaking ability, coupled with tight end Dawson Knox’s knack for finding the endzone, Allen has a full arsenal of weapons, who are more than capable of exposing the smallest of weaknesses in opposing defenses.
