There was one surprising update on the Buffalo Bills’ Thursday injury report. Bills wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie, who was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice, did not participate in Thursday’s session.

McKenzie is dealing with a hamstring issue that popped up on Wednesday. It’s certainly a concerning developments, especially for a player that relies upon his speed and quick twitch movements to create separation in the passing game.

While McKenzie’s status is worth monitoring, he did offer some positivity to reporters on Thursday.

ESPN’s Bills reporter Alaina Getzenburg caught up with the Bills slot receiver after practice. McKenzie reportedly told her that he “should be fine” for Sunday’s Wild Card Round matchup with the Miami Dolphins.

Buffalo does have a solid backup plan if McKenzie is unable to play. The Bills signed WR Cole Beasley off of its practice squad, putting him in line to get some work on Sunday.
