A bulk of that came from he Cincinnati Bengals. They certainly didn't mind discussing Joe Burrow's record and performances against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
This time, the Chiefs got the last laugh. They took care of Cincy in an absolute nail-bitter, and Mahomes played a great game. He out-dueled Burrow when it mattered most.
Mahomes totaled 334 total yards and two TDs. He had one turnover. Burrow recorded 300 total yards and one TD. He had two turnovers.
After the game, Patrick Mahomes Sr. had a comical flex for the Bengals, their QB, and their fans.
Of course, it is a nod to the past when Burrow and the Bengals have smoked cigars after playoff victories. They've always showed swagger after a big win, so the Chiefs had to do the same.
Mahomes Sr. played in the MLB, so he knows all about the pressure of professional sports.
Now, his son is the best quarterback in the NFL. He may be the most talented we've ever seen, too. Mahomes continues to cement himself in league history as a special talent at QB.
