For the second straight year, the Super Bowl had a controversial ending.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night in Super Bowl LVII thanks in part to a questionable holding call late in the fourth quarter.

Here's the play:

That call allowed Kansas City to nearly run the clock out before kicking a game-winning field goal.

That holding call looked very similar to the holding call on Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson in Cincinnati's loss to the Los Angeles Rams in last year's Super Bowl.

Bengals players had some unsurprising thoughts after the call against the Eagles, including Wilson.

It was certainly a tough way for the Eagles to lose and there's no doubt that the Bengals feel their pain after last season.

But I think both teams would tell you that a loss doesn't happen because of one questionable call. There were plenty of chances for Philly and Cincy to alter history and win the past two Super Bowls.
