Why Tennessee needs to start fighting back against the NCAA

It’s time for Tennessee to take a stand against the oppressive NCAA regime that won’t leave them alone

After almost two weeks and an 8-game suspension, Tennessee baseball shortstop Maui Ahuna has finally been cleared by the NCAA to play for the Vols. UT coach Tony Vitello is also back in the dugout after serving a three-game suspension related to the situation. Obviously, this is far from the first time the Big Orange have had to grapple with the NCAA over player eligibility. Something similar happened with star Vols wide receiver Bru McCoy when he transferred from USC last year. And it’s time for this nonsense to stop. On this week’s Big Orange Podcast, we talked about why Tennessee needs to stop cooperating and start proactively fighting back against the NCAA to stop their constant attempts at meddling with UT athletics.
