There are some sports markets out there that have unbearable media when it comes to covering the players. We all know New York is one of those, along with maybe Dallas and Philadelphia. But I would say Denver isn't on that list, usually. The Denver media usually covers the Broncos and their players pretty fairly, until recently.

One of the Broncos' best players, and an All-Pro at that, received some criticism from local Denver media that just wasn't fair, and he handled it the best way possible.

The Denver Sports Twitter account that covers all of Denver sports obviously, has a show, and they post clips from that show on their social media.

One of their hosts had the audacity to say that Patrick Surtain, the Broncos' first-team All-Pro, isn't the best player on the team because he doesn't play receiver.

That truly has to be one of the worst takes I have ever seen.

Surtain responded to the tweet by saying "Guess I gotta play Wr."

It's almost common knowledge around the NFL that cornerback is harder to play because of all the rules they have going against them. The rules favor the receiver.

But, this guy who we shall not name, says receiver is harder because they get paid more.

I love the way Surtain responded to this, but let's hope he doesn't have to do something like that again.
