The NFL offseason is just about over and nothing signals that more than Roster Cutdown Day that is quickly approaching.
For the 49ers, most of their 53-man roster is already set, but they still have some interesting decisions to make on the margins.
San Francisco will likely cut a host of players who would easily make the regular-season roster of teams across the NFL. However, the 49ers will look to bring back many of those they cut and stash them on the practice squad. Below is an up-to-date list of the 49ers' roster cuts:
49ers' 2023 Roster Cuts
The 49ers waived CB Nate Brooks, DL La'Darius Hamilton, DL Breeland Speaks LB Kyahva Tezino and DL Spencer Waege, per Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area.
Per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the 49ers have waived WR Tay Martin.
According to Maiocco, the 49ers have waived CB Qwuantrezz Knight.
Per Matt Barrows of The Athletic, the 49ers have waived OT Leroy Watson.
The 49ers waived OT Ilm Manning, per Maiocco. In addition, they waived OG Jason Poe.
San Francisco waived FB Jack Colletto, per Barrows.
Per multiple reports, the 49ers cut veteran defensive linemen Kerry Hyder Jr and Austin Bryant as procedural moves. Both will be re-signed on Wednesday.
The 49ers waived CB D'Shawn Jamison.
San Francisco has now confirmed its roster cuts.
