With roster cuts made and 53-man rosters set, teams around the NFL are now turning their attention to the waiver wire as they build their practice squad for the 2023 season.
The Tennessee Titans will be able to add 16 (or 17) players to the practice squad but must follow certain stipulations when doing so. Teams can officially begin signing players to their practice squad on Wednesday at 11 a.m. CST.
Per NFL league rules, teams can bring in up to six player with an unlimited number of accrued season in the league. These are usually your veteran additions that are candidates for game day elevations. Additionally, there is a 10-player limit on players with two or fewer accrued seasons. For rookies with zero years of experience, there is no limit.
During the season, teams around the NFL can protect four players from being poached by another team. Here is a list of the players Tennessee is bringing back on their practice (so far).
