The Chicago Bears made headlines on Wednesday when it was confirmed the FBI raided defensive coordinator Alan Williams' house.
The exact reason for the raid is still unknown, but Williams resigned from his position on Wednesday. He was unable to attend the Bears' Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and head coach Matt Eberflus called the plays in Williams' stead.
Per ESPN's Courtney Cronin, Williams cited health issues as the reason for his resignation.
There was also a rumor that Halas Hall got raided, but Cronin later reported a team spokesperson said the Bears' practice facility did not get raided. Per Cronin, police also haven't been involved at the team facility.
The team is expected to release a statement in the near future. We will provide updates once that happens.
