The Indianapolis Colts got great news before their Wednesday practice ahead of their Week 4 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams.
Head coach Shane Steichen announced that both Anthony Richardson and Ryan Kelly would practice today.
Richardson and Kelly both practicing today after missing last week's game. This is a huge step in the right direction for their potential availability for the team's Week 4 matchup with the Rams. Both will have to practice one more time this week before they can be cleared by a medical professional.
Wednesday Injury Report:
Did Not Practice:
- Quenton Nelson
- DeForest Buckner
Once again, this week, Quenton Nelson opens the week missing practice. Which seems to be how the team is dealing with his toe injury. I'd expect to see a similar week ahead of limited practice for Nelson, but still suiting up on game day.
DeForest Buckner shows up on the injury report this week with a groin injury. Buckner is another veteran who has missed practice in the past and still played on game day. So I do not think fans have anything to worry about just yet.
Full Participant:
- Ryan Kelly
- Anthony Richardson
The Colts starting QB and center were back at practice today after missing all last week with concussions. This is a major step in the right direction in their recovery. Both need one more practice before they can be cleared by a medical professional, but they are right on schedule to make their return to the field for Week 4.
