Last week, Deebo Samuel played against the Cardinals despite missing the entire week of practice. He did not have a single catch in the 49ers' Week 4 win.
This week, however, Samuel will go into a mouthwatering primetime clash with the Cowboys seemingly back to full strength following rib and knee injuries suffered in Week 3.
Only one player who started the week on the injury report has been definitively ruled out, and his absence is hardly a surprise.

Injury report observations
Samuel has previously tormented the Cowboys, doing so in San Francisco's playoff win in the 2021 season when he called his own shot and scored a crucial rushing touchdown.
With Samuel and Jauan Jennings, who missed Week 4, both back healthy, the 49ers will have each of their top five pass-catching threats available and at full strength.
The defense will also have its full complement of starters as it bids to contain Dak Prescott and Co. as it did in last season's Divisional Round victory.
Dre Greenlaw's participation never appeared in doubt and early concern that Charvarius Ward's lingering heel problem has now been removed. New addition Randy Gregory will not play against his former team, though. Shanahan confirmed Gregory would return to the 49ers on Monday having passed a physical following his trade from the Broncos.
That veteran backup Jon Feliciano practiced in full is a great sign for his availability as the primary backup on the interior of the offensive line after spending the entirety of the week in concussion protocol prior to Friday.
It is more injury misery for backup running back Mitchell, however. San Francisco's 2021 leading rusher injured his knee late last week and will now miss a second successive game after being limited to five regular-season outings last year.
Randy Gregory will not make his 49ers debut against the Cowboys
There won’t be a revenge game.
