The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars for their Week 6 matchup.
The Colts will be without QB Anthony Richardson for certain, but their practices this week will answer other important questions surrounding key starter's health.
Last week, the Colts were without the following starters:
- LT Bernhard Raimann
- Edge Kwity Paye
- LB Shaquille Leonard
Raimann and Paye both missed with concussions, and their statuses will be updated throughout the week as they are able to progress through the NFL's concussion protocol. Leonard missed with a groin injury, and his status is a true mystery heading into this week. The first step for any of these three returning, as well as TE Mo Alie-Cox, who left Week 5 after suffering a concussion, will be by testing their injuries in practice this week, which begins today.
Wednesday Injury Report:
Did Not Practice:
- Mo Alie-Cox
- Braden Smith
The Colts saw TE Mo Alie-Cox leave their Week 5 game with a concussion so him not practicing today shouldn't be a big surprise to anyone. Braden Smith now being listed with a foot as well as his wrist injury. I wouldn't say there should be any panic about Smith's availability for Sunday at the time.
Full Participants:
- Bernhard Raimann
- Kwity Paye
- Shaquille Leonard
All three players who missed the Colts Week 5 matchup last week were full participants today. A really good sign for Raimann and Paye who are still in the NFL's concussion protocol.
