Injuries appear to be the only thing standing between the San Francisco 49ers and a truly dominant season. They suffered two in the first quarter of their Week 6 clash with the Cleveland Browns.
San Francisco's third drive saw All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams sustain an apparent ankle injury after getting rolled up by defensive tackle Shelby Harris. Jaylon Moore entered the game for Williams, who was then seen getting his ankle taped and testing it on the sideline.
At the same time, wide receiver Deebo Samuel entered the blue medical tent with a shoulder injury. Both players were listed as questionable to return before Williams did return to the field.
San Francisco has survived injuries to Samuel in the past, including down the stretch of the 2022 regular season.
However, for the 49ers' offense to continue to operate at the incredible levels it has produced so far, it ideally needs him healthy and on the field.
