Wednesday was an interesting day for the Detroit Lions. They did hold a practice, but it was a soft practice. Here's what Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell said on Wednesday morning:
"We've played some physical opponents. We got another one coming up. And so I wanted to back down today. It'll be a lot of mental work. And then we'll do a little bit of just getting our heart rate up at the very end but feel like that's what we need for the day and then we're, we're back in rhythm tomorrow. But so with that I can I can be able to tell you about injuries. I don't know. I won't know until tomorrow."
Campbell did say that the team dealing with injuries has nothing to do with the team holding back a little. This is actually a normal thing that teams do some times. It's not the first time the Lions have done this and it won't be the last.
With that said, in the practice that the Lions did have we got some good news on a couple guys we've been waiting to hear about.

Both Brian Branch and Jamhyr Gibbs were back on Wednesday. They are much needed for Sunday's game. James Mitchell also came back and Josh Pascha returned too.
One name to pay attention to is Craig Reynolds. The Lions are extremely thin at running back right now. If he can't go, it could be Gibbs, Mohamed Ibrahim and Devine Ozigbo on Sunday.
