Downs has had an impressive start to his NFL career. Through the first eight weeks, he has totaled 40 receptions for 473 yards and two touchdowns. He is 3rd among all rookie WRs in receptions and receiving yards only behind Los Angeles Rams Puka Nacua and Minnesota Vikings Jordan Addison.
Downs has so far exceeded his 3rd-round draft status and is already producing himself to be one of the Colts most important offensive weapons for the future and this season. With a Madden rating of a 79, Downs is now tied with the likes of Chicago Bears Darnell Mooney, Cleveland Browns Elijah Moore, and New England Patriots Juju Smith-Schuster.
