Will George Pickens Be Featured In The Passing Game?
Perhaps you have seen the antics that Pickens pulled both during and after the Titans game last week, a contest that saw him record negative receiving yards. Obviously upset with his lack of targets. Pickens, Coach Tomlin, and other Steelers downplayed the narrative surrounding Pickens, but a storm may be brewing in Pittsburgh.
3 players to keep an eye on:
WR George Pickens: Piggybacking off the aforementioned backstory, it will be interesting to see how Green Bay's defends Pickens, with Packers CB Jaire Alexander slated to match up with Pickens. Not only is Alexander one of the best corners in the league, he's known for his trash talk, and will likely aim to get under Pickens' skin early.
QB Kenny Pickett: Pickett missed far too many passes agaisngt the Titans but he was also fresh off a Jaguars game game where he missed the second half because he literally couldn't throw the ball with bad ribs. Over two weeks removed from the inury come Sunday, hopefully, the extra three days off after Thursday works wonders for Pickett.
RT Broderick Jones: With incumbent starter Chuks Okorfaor slated to miss another game due to disciplinary reasons, it's shaping up to be the rookie first-round pick's third start of his career and second at RT, but this time against a formidable front four.
