Just because you're a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers 53-man roster doesn't mean you'll be playing on gameday, even if healthy.

That's because the NFL limits teams to 46 active players on game day.

So with the context clear, here are the inactives for today's matchup:

Steelers Inactive players:

QB Mason Rudolph (3rd QB)

CB Darius Rush

S Minkah Fitzpatrick

RB Godwin Igwebuike

DT Montravius Adams

T Dylan Cook

NT Breiden Fehoko

Packers Inactive players:

  • LB Quay Walker
  • CB Jaire Alexander
  • LB Brenton Cox Jr.
  • T Caleb Jones
  • WR Samori Toure

Observations:

With the Packers down two of their best defenders, including arguably their best overall player in Jaire Alexander, Pittsbugh's offense, and more specifically, George Pickens should be in for a big day.

It all starts up front though, as the Packers' pass rush is their team's strength, and they are fully healthy.
