Brock Purdy bounced back from his turnover struggles in the San Francisco 49ers' three-game losing streak in style on Sunday, and achieved something no other quarterback has managed this season.

The 49ers quarterback, who had received great criticism for his six interceptions across San Francisco's three defeats, was outstanding as the Niners routed the Jacksonville Jaguars 34-3 on the road.

Purdy finished 19 of 26 for 296 yards and three touchdowns, with the nature of those scores helping to illustrate just how good he was.

Per NextGen Stats, all three of Purdy's touchdowns were on throws of over 10 air yards with a time to throw of at least 2.5 seconds, his performance an excellent demonstration of his ability to make explosive plays late in the down.

Five quarterbacks have a game this season with three such touchdowns. However, Purdy, who had another such game in the 49ers' 42-10 blowout of the Cowboys in Week 5, is the only quarterback to record a second in 2023.

Turnovers aside, Purdy did not play poorly over the course of the previous three defeats, but he is determined to ensure there is no drop-off from the standard he produced against Jacksonville in as crucial stretch of the season for the 6-3 Niners.

"I came into this game with a clear mindset of man, I've got dudes around me, got a great defense, be smart with the ball and make plays," Purdy added.

"Play free in terms of cutting it loose. But all while still playing within the scheme and being smart with the ball. That's where I was at and I’ve got to keep playing like that moving forward."
