Right before their matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football, their first one since 2011, the Jacksonville Jaguars got some news from the opponent that only helped them. They got some news that kind of gives them a boost.
Now, let me just preface by saying we never wish anyone would get hurt, no matter whose team they are on. However, it has already happened, and there is nothing we can do now.
With that being said, the Bengals are placing one of their best cornerbacks on the IR list. According to Ian Rapoport, they are placing Cam Taylor-Britt on IR, meaning he will be out at least until Week 17, which means he will miss Monday Night Football.
This is definitely a boost for the Jaguars. Their offense hasn't been able to stretch the field greatly this year, and taking away a guy who has great ball instincts and speed like Taylor-Britt will be huge.
