The Indianapolis Colts have seen a lot of positive progressions on their injury report ahead of their Week 17 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Friday's practice is the final chance the Colts will have to take the field before Sunday's game. And following practice we will see if any player is ruled out for Week 17.
The Colts are hoping to get multiple key players back on the field this week. They saw WR Michael Pittman Jr. and RT Braden Smith return to practice in a full capacity on Thursday. If they can repeat that on Friday, they will likely head into Week 17 without any designation, meaning they would be ready to go.
Friday Injury Report:
Out:
- Zack Moss
The Colts will again be without backup RB Zack Moss this week as he continues to work through a forearm injury. This will likely mean a big workload for RB Jonathan Taylor, who found the endzone in his first week back from his thumb injury last week.
Questionable:
- Cameron McGrone
- DJ Montgomery
- Michael Pittman Jr.
- Braden Smith
- Kenny Moore II
Head coach Shane Steichen sounded very optimistic about WR Michael Pittman Jr. and RT Braden Smith returning this week. So much so that I was honestly shocked to see both listed as questionable. Via how Steichen sounded, though, I'd be shocked if either didn't suit up. One to monitor, though, is CB Kenny Moore II, who popped up out of nowhere on the Colts injury report today with a back injury. Late additions to the injury report that aren't for rest are tricky, this one seems like a legit game-time decision.
No Designation:
- Segun Olubi
- Jack Anderson
- Ameer Speed
- DeForest Buckner
After missing last week, LB Segun Olubi is back for Week 17. This gives the Colts a solid rotational LB and a productive special teamer for Sunday. The Colts gave star DT DeForest Buckner Friday off, which. has happened multiple times this season, but he is good to go.
Two Colts legends are one step closer to immortality
Two of the greatest players to ever wear an Indianapolis Colts jersey are one step closer to entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
