While the Cleveland Browns are giving their reserves a chance to play this Sunday, the front-liners of the Cincinnati Bengals are looking for one last chance to prove themselves this season.
Starting with wideouts Ja'Marr Chase (shoulder) and Tee Higgins (hamstring), both are nursing injuries and are working through them. Head coach Zac Taylor stated that Chase is "a bit further along" than Higgins, but it's a good sign to see both of them at Wednesday's practice.
Chase and Higgins were joined by every other member of the Bengals active roster Wednesday as they had full attendance for the last Wednesday practice of the season. And no one was left out of receiver drills, with an emphasis on no one.
While Higgins stretched and was in uniform, he did not officially participate in practice according to the team's injury report. He was the lone DNP and was joined by a few more names in the limited section.
Chase and cornerbacks Chidobe Awuzie (shoulder) and Jalen Davis (groin) were each limited Wednesday. Davis was included in last week's injury report and played in Week 17. Awuzie's shoulder injury last popped up in Week 15's injury report, but he was a full participant that week.
