The Pittsburgh Steelers were back at practice on Wednesday, even if it wasn't in their usual spot.

With no games left at Acrisue Stadium until the fall, Pittsburgh decided to leave the UPMC complex to get prepared for the elements with an in-stadium experience.

Here's a look at participation levels on day one of Bills week:

Steelers Injury Report, Wildcard Weekend, Wednesday:

Observations:

  • T.J. Watt: Watt was ruled out during Coach Tomlin's weekly presser on Tuesday, but Wednesday's injury report solidified as much, with Watt as a nonparticipant. So while it hurts to say, don't hold your breath Steelers fans. Instead hope for a win and Watt's potentially shortened timetable at that point.
  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: The Pro Bowler was back at practice in full capacity on Wednesday, adding to the optimism that Coach Tomlin spoke of regarding his availability against Buffalo.
  • Isaac Seumalo: I wouldn't make too much of Seumalo missing Wednesday's practice, as he missed plenty of time with the shoulder-rest.
  • Najee Harris: I echo the same sentiments with Harris as I do Seumalo.
  • Elandon Roberts: Roberts returned in Week 18 from the pectoral injury, so limited participation is likely Pittsburgh just being cautious.
