After spotting the Buffalo Bills 21 points, the Pittsburgh Steelers made it a game late in the fourth. 

Unfortunately, it was too little too late, and the team came up short in their playoff attempt. 

Losing your best rookie certainly didn't help, with Coach Tomlin adding info to Porter Jr. and the other Steelers injuries: 

Steelers Postgame Injury Report

  • CB Joey Porter Jr.: Porter Jr left the game and was walked with assistance to the locker room after suffering an apparent head injury. Porter Jr. was then deemed questionable with concussion-like symptoms. He wouldn't return and was said to be in concussion protocol by Coach Tomlin.
  • WR Allen Robinson: Robinson was seen heading to the locker room in the fourth quarter after a hit to the head and is also in the concussion protocol according to coach Tomlin. 
  • TE Pat Freiermuth: Freiermuth was seen limping late in the game and is dealing with an ankle according to coach Tomlin.
