According to 7 News WSVN Miami, former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Vontae Davis has passed away at the age of 35 years old.

He was reportedly found dead at his grandmother's home, and per police, "no foul play was involved."

Davis was traded to the Colts from the Miami Dolphins on August 27th, 2012. He would spend the next six seasons with the Colts, including arguably his best two seasons in the NFL in 2014 and 2015, both of which he earned selection to the Pro Bowl.

Of Davis' 10 NFL seasons, six were spent with the Colts, and if you ask most Colts fans, they will tell you how great of a player they remember him being during that span. One could argue that his peak was the greatest performance by a Colts CB in the franchise's history.

Since the news of his passing, multiple former Colts coaches, teammates, and fans have shared their condolences about this tragic loss.
