Every time a photo is taken of Travis Kelce recently, it seems the Kansas City Chiefs tight end always has a big smile on his face.
And it seems there may be someone to thank for all of that.
Kelce is coming off his third Super Bowl victory. But the highlight of the year has probably been his whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift. The singer came to many of his games this past season to support him, and he returned the favor, traveling and meeting her during different international stops on her Eras Tour.
So when asked about how this year has been for him, Kelce didn't hold back.
"I'm the happiest I've ever been. I'm a guy that some people say is glass half full, half empty, and my glass is all the way full. It's all the way full," Kelce said during an exclusive interview with People. "I'm oozing life right now."
Along with the Super Bowl victory, so many new opportunities have popped up for Kelce. And he is embracing each and every one.
"It's just so much fun getting into when you win the Super Bowl, all these doors open, and so I've just been going through all these open doors, experiencing life and just appreciating the people that have got me here and also staying high and meeting new faces," he said.
He really hasn't had a moment to relax, keeping a very busy schedule despite the season being over. He's traveled to Australia and Singapore to meet up with Swift. And he's also already working out to prepare for next season.
"It doesn't feel like there's much chill in my life," Kelce said. "Everything seems to be full throttle and just moving at the speed of light, and that's how I kind of like it.
"I like it to be up pace. I like to have just exciting things going on. And sure enough, I'm out here in the entertainment world trying to dabble into that before I get back locked in on football and knowing that that's going to be my focus until I'm done playing."
While Kelce's brother Jason retired following the 2023 season, the tight end isn't ready to call it quits yet. However, it's most likely going to come within the next few years. And he is looking forward to what might be next.
"But to dabble around in the entertainment space is something that I'm really interested in," Kelce explained.
