Lions give update on Morice Norris after DB was taken out of game in an ambulance, tracking updates
Updates on Morice Norris after scary injury
On Friday night, we saw one of those moments that make this game really hard to love. Detroit Lions safety Morice Norris took a knee to the head during a play, and that hit snapped his head back. Immediately, trainers ran to the field, and a board was brought out. Norris laid on the field for 10 plus minutes while players and coaches from both teams took knees and cried. He was taken out in an ambulance.
After that, both teams decided they did not want to play anymore, and after letting the clock run down for about six minutes, the game was suspended by the league. We now have an update on Norris from the Lions. Here’s what we know:
- Dan Campbell said in the post-game presser that Norris is breathing, talking, and has some movement. Campbell said he was receiving more tests.
- Falcons players say that Norris was responsive on the field.
- Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold gives a very positive update
- The Lions gave a major update on Norris.
- Ennis Rakestraw gives another great update. He Facetimed Norris late Friday night.
- Norris posted this on his Instagram story on Saturday morning. Looks like he’s all good.
- Norris was back at the Lions’ facility over the weekend.
We will continue to update this post as soon as we get more information.
