‘It was the loudest screams I heard on the tour’ – Taylor Swift hypes up Travis Kelce with callback to Eras Tour appearance
Killa Trav on stage took everybody by surprise.
Taylor Swift fondly remembers Travis Kelce’s special guest appearance during one of her Eras Tour shows in London, England.
“It was so good. It was so special,” Swift recalled on the Aug. 13 episode of New Heights.
So how did it all come together?
“We thought we were doing a bit. We both thought we were just joking,” Swift explained. “Cause everything we were saying is inside of a bit, and we’re laughing the whole time, and every once in a while, one of us would be like, ‘Are you serious? Like I could be serious, are you serious?’”
“I was serious in a terrifying fashion,” Travis chimed in.
“It was a ‘wouldn’t it be funny if’ kind of thing,” she continued. “But the fact that when we were talking about it, when we were joking, I saw that little twinkle in your eye, where I was like, he wants to do it.’”
And in the end, it couldn’t have gone any better.
“You were so good. Every single beat,” she said. “His comedic timing is crazy. And when the lights are bright, that’s when he slows down time, that’s when he thrives.”
“I just blackout and hope that it ends out perfect,” Travis said. “I rose from that stage, and I saw how many people are looking at you, and I was just like, blackout.”
“You looked so good. It was so amazing,” Swift added. “It was one of the loudest, if not the loudest scream I’ve ever heard on the tour. It really was.”
And while Travis has played in front of thousands of fans throughout his NFL career, it was nothing compared to being on stage with Swift.
“I felt like an ant,” Travis confessed. “I felt like the smallest piece of life ever.”
