The Las Vegas Raiders just finished their final preseason game of the 2025 season against the Arizona Cardinals, and now it’s time to cut their roster down from 90 players to 53.

This is a new regime for the Raiders, which seems like something we say every offseason now. But, that comes with the fact that we have no idea who or what the Raiders will do, because we don’t really know their tendencies when it comes to Pete Carroll and John Spytek in collaboration.

It’s going to be new for everyone, and there are a ton of great players on this roster, guys that should make the roster any other year, but have some guys ahead of them that are even better. And, most of the time when that happens, those players get signed to other teams’ 53-man rosters. That will be a common theme this offseason.

It will be interesting to see the types of players that Carroll prefers over some. It will be interesting to see how he and Spytek collaborate on some of these decisions, and then what the roster looks like to start the season. After that, next year, if this regime is still together, we can get a much better idea of what to expect after the 2026 preseason.

Obviously, not every position group is the same. Some position groups will have more competition than others, and some position groups will keep more players than others. Before this thing really kicks off, or finishes, I should say, I have my initial 53-man roster prediction up. And, sure, I’ll probably get more than half of that wrong, but it’s fun to kind of guess what a regime that we don’t know anything about, is going to do.

Until then, follow this tracker along closely, to see who has been cut, and to try and piece together who is making the roster. We will update it every single time a transaction is made, and you can always refer to the tracker anytime you need to know if a player is still on the roster or not.
