Taylor Swift has become such an important part of Chiefs Kingdom that the singer made numerous appearances in ESPN’s recent docuseries, “The Kingdom.”

In an interview with PEOPLE, the director of this series, Kristen Lappas, detailed how Swift has been “very supportive” of Travis Kelce and the Chiefs during the show’s taping. Lappas added that in the scenes that Swift appears, she “approved all of her image and likeness.”

But that’s not all.

Chiefs Chief Marketing Officer Foolish Club Studios COO Lara Krug added that it allows fans to see a different side of Swift.

“Now you see her in the way that I think is how she wanted to be seen, which is as a fan of the community,” Krug said.

Swift made her first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in 2023, where she showed up for the Chiefs’ matchup against the Chicago Bears. With so much speculation about her and Kelce’s relationship, this confirmed that the two were indeed seeing one another.

Since then, Swift has been to two Super Bowls, even winning one in her rookie season. She has gotten to see the highest of highs while also experiencing the lowest of lows with the team. And with that, she’s become a huge football fan, going from knowing nothing to now understanding it all.

So, it’s only right that she gets to appear in “The Kingdom,” which, as Chiefs CEO and Chairman Clark Hunt said, is a “tribute to everyone who has helped shape” the franchise.
