‘Stealing that one’ — Jason Kelce applauds Taylor Swift over her perfect nickname for Travis Kelce following New Heights appearance
It does fit Travis perfectly.
Travis Kelce is living the dream, marrying his dream girl and getting to play the sport he loves. So, it makes sense why the Kansas City Chiefs tight end always seems to have a smile on his face.
And it’s something that Taylor Swift mentioned, giving him a unique nickname during her appearance on the New Heights podcast.
“He’s the good kind of crazy. And I knew that he wasn’t crazy the first couple of times that we talked. I was just like, he’s truly getting to know me in a way that’s very natural, very pure, very normal,” Swift explained, “Also just the way he could make me laugh so immediately about normal things. Like, Travis is just a vibe booster in everyone’s life that he’s in.”
“He’s like a human exclamation point. He’s like when you take a picture on your phone and you push the enhance color button, that’s what you do to everyone’s life,” she added. “Also, you’re so non-judgmental about people and you were not judgmental about the fact that I knew nothing about the world you were in.”
Even the Chiefs had fun with this one after the episode aired.
And it seems that nickname has officially caught on within the Kelce family.
“I took away a lot from the interview. I mean, she’s incredibly brilliant, she’s very smart, she’s very funny, all of these things, but the one thing I really took away, and it was highlighted by a lot of people out there, but I try to describe you to people a lot of the times,” Jason said on the newest episode of the brother’s hit podcast.
“I’m like, listen, nobody knows Travis Kelce and dislikes him. He is the epitome of a great teammate … and there’s just a way about you that you’ve always been a magnetic human being, and you’ve gotten the best out of people and all this stuff. And when she said you were a human exclamation point, I was like, ‘Goddamn.’ Like, she is f—ing good with words,” Jason added.
“That is such a great way to describe is a great way to describe Travis Kelce. That might be better than Big Yeti, the human exclamation point,” Jason continued. “That’s my new nickname for Travis Kelce. Stealing that one.”
