The Tennessee Vols and the Alabama Crimson Tide don’t face off for another month, but the rivalry was alive and well on Saturday morning in Knoxville.

ESPN’s College GameDay was in Knoxville on Saturday for the Vols’ matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs.

At one point during the broadcast, the GameDay crew interviewed Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer (DeBoer was on the field in Tuscaloosa ahead of the Crimson Tide’s game against Wisconsin).

During the interview, Tennessee fans hilariously started doing the Florida State Seminoles’ war chant.

Alabama lost their season-opener to Florida State two weeks ago.

How can you not love college football?

Tennessee Vols fans were in a savage mood on Saturday morning during ESPN’s College GameDay

No one was safe during GameDay on Saturday morning — including former Vols quarterback Nico Iamaleava.

Tennessee fans started chanting “Nico sucks” when the former UT quarterback was mentioned during the broadcast.

It’s been a tough go for Iamaleava at UCLA. The former five-star recruit is 0-3 through his first three games as the Bruins’ starting quarterback after UCLA’s 35-10 loss to New Mexico on Friday night.
