There never seems to be a shortage of drama when it comes to the Las Vegas Raiders. It never seemed like there was this much when they were in Oakland, but in a way, this is what the Raiders have always been. However, only now, that drama is about Tom Brady as of late, the greatest player of all time.

Brady is a minority owner of the Raiders, while also fulfilling his broadcasting duties with FOX, covering NFL games on the side. Just last week, he covered the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles game. Now, former head coach Antonio Pierce is accusing Brady of what everyone is worried about – Brady sharing information with the Raiders in a way that has to be substantial enough for an investigation.

“This is unprecedented, what we’re seeing,” Pierce told Adam Schein of SiriusXM Mad Dog Radio. “I think I would be uncomfortable if it were the other way around, to be honest with you, because you’re not dealing with just a normal person. Tom Brady is the elite of the elite, one of the greatest quarterbacks, one of the greatest players in the game. [I] played against him, obviously, a student of the game. It’s not hard for him to watch a few things on a Friday practice or hear things in a production meeting and be like, ‘Hmm,’ and have tidbits. And you’d be foolish enough to think that he’s not gonna share that with the Raiders because we had those conversations about certain things.”

The Raiders could have some trouble coming their way.

Raiders’ Tom Brady is garnering a lot of attention for the wrong reasons

During their Monday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers, the conversation was sparked. Mostly, this started because of what current head coach Pete Carroll claims is a false report: that Brady and Chip Kelly, the offensive coordinator, meet together two to three times per week. While reporting that on the ESPN broadcast, they showed Brady in the coach’s box with a headset on.

Then, another report came out by James Palmer stating that Brady meets with coaches and players every weekend before a game, gathering as much information as possible about those teams and sharing it with the Raiders. Now, Pierce has also come out and said this is true.

But, before we all immediately jump the gun, let’s take everything with a grain of salt, especially when we consider who is breaking this news, former Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce. Since being fired by the Raiders, Pierce has been on NFL Plus every Sunday doing a pregame show, and he’s been seen saying snarky, jealous-like comments about the Raiders the last two weeks. So, it’s important to remember this could be a malicious thing by Pierce to get back at the Raiders.

Brady has been involved in cheating scandals in the past, so at this point, nationally, people wouldn’t put it past him. Now, we just have to wait for more information to come out about this. The NFL quickly responded to the issue regarding Brady sitting in the coaches’ box, and they disregarded it. Let’s see how quickly they respond to this new issue, or if they respond at all.
