The Tennessee Vols and the Arkansas Razorbacks will face off on Saturday afternoon in Neyland Stadium.

Both teams are coming off bye weeks.

The Vols had a week off after their thrilling 41-34 overtime win against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Arkansas, meanwhile, had a week off after getting boat raced by Notre Dame, falling 56-13 in front of a home crowd at Razorback Stadium.

Razorbacks head coach Sam Pittman was fired following the loss to Notre Dame. Arkansas promoted offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino to interim head coach (and he immediately made staff changes).

National media outlet predicts the final score of Tennessee vs Arkansas

CBS Sports’ Brad Crawford and Chris Hummer predicted the final scores of this weekend’s biggest games, and they both have Tennessee beating Arkansas.

Hummer has the Vols winning 38-31, while Crawford has Tennessee winning 42-24.

“If Arkansas can even manage an average defensive effort, it can stay in this game,” wrote Hummer. “The problem is that unit has been an absolute disaster. But I think Petrino is in his bag, and the Razorbacks keep this game close enough coming out of a bye.”

“Scoring points hasn’t been the problem for Arkansas, however. It’s keeping the opposition out of the end zone and limiting explosive plays,” added Crawford. “Tennessee should have plenty of opportunities.”

Tennessee and Arkansas will kick off at 4:15 p.m. ET on Saturday.
