Bengals Injury Report: Al Golden confirms key rookie will be plenty busy against Steelers on TNF
Cincinnati is set to get its first-round pick back on the field this week.
Only two more sleeps until the Cincinnati Bengals host their first and only primetime game of the 2025 season. Cincinnati will face off against the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers on “Thursday Night Football,” and things look to be about the same on the injury front as they appeared on Monday’s injury report.
Cincinnati went through a walkthrough late Tuesday, not an official practice. Here’s what the estimated injury report would’ve looked like:
Bengals Tuesday injury report
| Player | Injury | M/T/W | Designation |
| LG Dylan Fairchild | Knee | Full/Full | – |
| TE Mike Gesicki | Pectoral | DNP/DNP | – |
| DE Trey Hendrickson | Hip | DNP/DNP | – |
| DT B.J. Hill | NIR – (Rest) | DNP/DNP | – |
| TE Tanner Hudson | Concussion | DNP/DNP | – |
| WR Charlie Jones | Ribs | DNP/DNP | – |
| RT Amarius Mims | Ankle | Full/Full | – |
| OL Lucas Patrick | Calf | Full/Full | – |
| DE Shemar Stewart | Ankle | Full/Full | – |
Observations
- Defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) was listed as a non-participant once again. He’s considered day-to-day, but if he goes the entire week as a DNP, he may become a true game-time decision for Thursday night.
- Defensive end Shemar Stewart (ankle) is projected to play plenty of snaps according to defensive coordinator Al Golden. This could be foreshadowing Hendrickson not being able to play.
- Tight end Tanner Hudson (concussion) is in the concussion protocol and with it being a short week, it’s highly unlikely he’ll be able to play Thursday.
- Wide receiver Charlie Jones (ribs) was also a DNP for a second straight afternoon.
Steelers Tuesday injury report

| DT Cameron Heyward | NIR – Rest | DNP/DNP | – |
| LB Malik Harrison | Knee | Limited/Limited | |

Observations
- Wide receiver Calvin Austin III (shoulder) and Safety Miles Killebrew (knee) were the only Steelers unable to practice Tuesday due to injuries.
- Linebacker Malik Harrison (knee) went limited after also being limited Monday.
