After Travis Kelce scored a historic touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs’ Monday night game against the Washington Commanders, it seems his celebration included a sweet tribute to Taylor Swift.

In the singer’s music video for her hit song “The Fate of Ophelia,” from her new album The Life of a Showgirl, she does a dance that has sparked a trend on social media, with fans joining in on the fun. And of course, eagle-eyed Swifties spotted some moves in Kelce’s celebratory dance that certainly seemed familiar.

One fan even stitched part of the music video alongside Kelce dancing.

Fans were loving it!

“I (recognize) that dance hehee,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“is this mf doing the fate of ophelia dance,” another fan commented.

“I swear Travis just did the “vibes” part of the Ophelia dance omg,” someone said.

Taylor Swift pretends to faint after Travis Kelce’s big catch against Commanders

Kelce had a solid game on Monday night, but there was one play where he truly did it all.

The tight end was tasked with blocking as the receivers attempted to get open, and he along with the offensive line, gave Patrick Mahomes plenty of time. But after fulfilling his duty, Kelce quickly noticed that his quarterback didn’t have anyone open, so he decided to provide him with an outlet. And with that, he was wide open, going far beyond the first-down line for a huge gain.

And Swift, who watched the entire sequence in suspense, hilariously pretended to faint.

She knows all too well how nerve-racking it can be to be a Chiefs fan. But when it comes to Mahomes and Kelce, they always seem to make magic happen.
