The Dallas Cowboys have dealt with plenty of injuries in the 2025 NFL season and ahead of Week 9, they’re receiving a mixed bag of news.

On the positive side, the Cowboys are set to get center Cooper Beebe back on Monday Night Football. Per EVP Stephen Jones on 105.3 The Fan, the team “fully expects” Beebe to play against the Arizona Cardinals. Beebe is currently on Injured Reserve (ankle) but started practicing last week and had a chance to play in Week 8. However, the team decided to wait on his activation.

Getting Beebe is massive for the Cowboys because of Brian Schottenheimer’s emphasis on physicality running the football. Though backup Brock Hoffman has been very serviceable in Beebe’s absence, he doesn’t bring the same level of run blocking to the mix.

Beebe’s return will give Dallas its third game of the season with a fully healthy OL. The Cowboys’ original five starting offensive linemen for the season haven’t played together since Week 2.

Though the Cowboys’ health is looking good on offense, it’s looking like it will be another gameday of missing multiple starting safeties. Malik Hooker remains on Injured Reserve and Wilson has missed back-to-back practices with the same elbow/shoulder designation that caused him to miss Week 8. Backup Juanyeh Thomas has been a limited participant in practice (migraine), and UDFA rookie Alijah Clark has also been a non-participant in consecutive practices.

In other words, Dallas has only one healthy safety in Markquese Bell. Last Sunday, the Cowboys allowed plenty of big plays to the Denver Broncos. With Kyler Murray up next, better safety play would be appreciated. But health will be an issue.

Other notes on Cowboys’ Friday injury report

  • LB Jack Sanborn has missed back-to-back practices and could be out once again. Last time he played, he was limited to special teams work only.
  • DT Perrion Winfrey (currently on IR) has been a limited participant in practice and could be a reinforcement soon.
  • DT Kenny Clark, DE Marshawn Kneeland, and CB Reddy Steward are all on the report but practiced fully.
