Chiefs WR Hollywood Brown has improved in one key area that has nothing to do with his football skills
Hollywood has worked hard to stay on the field this season.
The Kansas City Chiefs have had their ups and downs on offense this season.
They struggled during the first few games, but then went on a tear throughout the month of October. Unfortunately, they took a bit of a step back in a tough loss to the Buffalo Bills before the bye week.
One player who has consistently been dependable during the good times and bad for Kansas City’s offense is wide receiver Hollywood Brown. He has appeared in every game this season, and ranks second on the team in receptions (34) and receiving yards (389), as well as first in receiving touchdowns with four.
Hollywood Brown is reminding everybody how good he is when healthy
While speaking to the media on Wednesday, Brown noted that he has regained his stamina, which has allowed him to be more aggressive.
“I feel like I’ve been getting better each and every week,” Brown said. “Especially with my stamina. I feel like I’ve been able to attack consistently more and more each week, something that I felt like I wasn’t doing earlier in the season. So, that point of view is important for me going forward, just to be able to press forward using my speed every play.”
After missing the first 14 games of the 2024 season with a shoulder injury, Brown wasn’t able to make as big of an impact when he returned as he wanted because he was out of the groove. He has been plagued with various injuries throughout his seven-year NFL career, but has been a difference maker when healthy.
With fellow WRs Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy back in the fold with Brown at the same time, the Chiefs’ passing attack can finally be at its most lethal. Brown won’t be a significant producer every week, but has proven himself reliable when called upon.
