Bills Injury Report: Latest update from One Bills Drive gives fans cause for concern ahead of ‘Thursday Night Football’ tilt
Not the update fans were hoping to hear ahead of the ‘Thursday Night Football’ showdown in Week 12.
The Buffalo Bills are battling a nasty injury bug, and while a handful of players were limited once again, just the sheer number of players popping up on the report gives the fan base cause for concern.
It’s impacting the offense and defense heading into the Week 12 tilt against the Houston Texans, with several key playmakers unable to practice. There’s not much time for the team to turn things around, as they’ll be playing on “Thursday Night Football.”
Ahead of practice, head coach Sean McDermott announced that tight end Dalton Kincaid, defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis, wide receiver Curtis Samuel, and fellow receiver Mecole Hardman would be unable to participate. In a surprise twist, Mathis practiced in a limited capacity.
With Hardman potentially being unavailable for Thursday, the team signed former Buffalo Bills kick/punt return specialist Brandon Codrington to the practice squad.

Observations
While there are no designations for the game, plenty of players are banged up heading into Thursday. Plenty of weapons for Allen have missed time, and plenty of playmakers on the defensive side of the football were either limited or did not practice.
All eyes will be on Buffalo and how they navigate the injuries ahead of another tough road test in Houston against one of the best defenses in the league.
The Bills have weathered injury storms before, but this week’s list is one of the most daunting of the season. If Buffalo wants to keep pace in the AFC race, navigating this short-week gauntlet in Houston will be critical.
