The Buffalo Bills have already ruled out a handful of players on offense for the upcoming Week 12 contest against the Houston Texans. Head coach Sean McDermott ruled out tight end Dalton Kincaid, along with receivers Mecole Hardman and Curtis Samuel, leaving quarterback Josh Allen down several weapons against one of the league’s best defenses.

Fortunately, Bills Mafia got some good news shortly after with the final injury report leading up to kickoff. On Monday, 16 players were on the injury report, most of whom were limited, and a select few did not practice, which was worrisome to say the least.

That all changed throughout the week, with nearly everyone becoming a full participant in the final iteration of the injury report. Outside of a few weapons being out for Allen and the offense, the team got some good news: mostly everyone else seems to be a full go for Week 12.

Observations

What started as a scary injury report earlier in the week could not have turned out much better for Buffalo. While the team is down a handful of players, almost everyone on the injury report was a full participant on Wednesday.

Wide receiver Khalil Shakir has been out for personal reasons following the birth of his child, and while he hasn’t practiced, he should be a full-go for the upcoming matchup. With some players on offense out, having Shakir healthy will go a long way toward success.

Even with Kincaid, Samuel, and Hardman unavailable, Buffalo’s overall health stabilized in a big way. Allen and the offense will have a reliable target available in Shakir, as the Bills try to navigate one of their toughest challenges of the season.
