Observations

  • Joe Burrow (toe) was officially limited Friday and is questionable to play on Sunday. He went full both Wednesday and Thursday. Joe Flacco (shoulder) took most of the reps to prepare in case he does indeed start. There’s not going to be an official word on Burrow playing or not until the weekend. “I think Joe [Burrow] has done everything he can to put himself in a position to get back,” head coach Zac Taylor said after practice. “We are just going to keep taking our time on this one. No decision has been made. He was limited today in practice. I feel comfortable waiting as long as we can to make this decision.” Cincinnati has until Saturday at 4:00 p.m. ET to activate Burrow off the Reserve/Injured list.
  • Mike Gesicki was activated off I.R. following Friday’s practice and will suit up Sunday. He’s missed the last four games with a pectoral injury. Daijahn Anthony (hamstring) is doubtful and will remain on IR for now. Cam Taylor-Britt is now on IR and will likely not play for the rest of the year.
  • Trey Hendrickson (hip/pelvis) and Cam Sample (oblique) are both officially out, which puts Isaiah Foskey into the mix at defensive end. Foskey was signed from the practice squad to the active roster.
  • Jalen Rivers (knee/ankle) went limited again and was the only player to be limited Friday but is good to go for Sunday.

Observations

  • Harold Landry (knee) went full for a second consecutive day but is officially questionable to play. Landry has 5.5 sacks on the season.
  • Rhamondre Stevenson (toe), who hasn’t played since Week 8, went full and is questionable as well. “I would say there wasn’t many restrictions and that he responded well to the practice,” Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said of Stevenson after practice. “I would say that as long as there are not any setbacks here, he’d be in line to play.”
  • Jajlani Tavai is the only player out for New England entering the weekend. He missed practice this week with a personal matter.
