The Indianapolis Colts aren’t quite at full strength, but they are getting a solid amount of reinforcements back on the field this week.

Every player on the Colts’ 53-man roster is available to play in Week 12 vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, with no players being ruled out due to injury. This means the only Colts missing this game via injury are those currently on the IR. The most notable player they will be without is star DT DeForest Buckner.

The Colts are seeing Charvarius Ward return from IR, as well as edge rushers Tyquan Lewis and Samson Ebukam return from multi-week injuries. The Colts’ bye week seemed to come at the perfect time for multiple players, but as a result, the team was forced to increase the number of healthy scratches in Week 12.

Colts Week 12 inactives

  • Jonathan Edwards, CB
  • DJ Giddens, RB
  • Reuben Lowery II, S
  • Will Mallory, TE
  • Luke Tenuta, OT

With the Colts’ secondary at full strength, they elected to make rookie Jonathan Edwards a healthy scratch. Edwards was one of the biggest surprises during training camp and went on to make the 53-man roster. He’s appeared in nine games during his rookie season, and it’s been an up-and-down year, but the Colts still seem to like his upside in the future. So while he’s inactive today, I don’t get the sense that the team feels the need to move on from him quite yet.

Edwards joins the Colts ‘ fifth-round pick, DJ Giddens, as a member of the team’s 2025 rookie class to be a healthy scratch in Week 12. Giddens has now been a healthy scratch for four straight games. The last time he dressed was in Week 7 of the Colts’ win over the Los Angeles Chargers, and the last time he logged a rush was in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Chiefs Week 12 inactives

  • Joshua Williams, CB
  • Isiah Pacheco, RB
  • Jalen Royals, WR
  • Jared Wiley, TE
  • Elijah Mitchell, RB
  • Wanya Morris, OL
