A team searching for an offensive identity in recent seasons has found it with the addition of quarterback Sam Darnold. With a good supporting cast and a talented defense led by head coach Mike Macdonald, this is a team that could be very dangerous once the postseason begins. They have the recipe to be a wildcard to make a playoff run.
While the rest of the 2025 season promises to be entertaining, the folks behind the scenes are doing their best to make sure that this organization is in a good place to make sure they are putting out a sustainable product. The 2026 NFL Draft serves as another chance to keep replenishing the roster. In the latest 7-round 2026 NFL mock draft, the priority was to continue building around Darnold. That was accomplished in a big way.

Round 1, Pick 27: Makai Lemon, WR, USC
With Rashid Shaheed set to hit free agency and Cooper Kupp being a shell of his former self, the Seahawks could be in the market for another playmaker opposite of Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Lemon has been one of the biggest risers of any wide receiver in the 2026 class this season. His nuance as a route runner and understanding of how to find space is phenomenal. Lemon is also dangerous after the catch, and a lot sturdier at the catch point than some would expect. Whether you need him in the slot or on the outside at times, Lemon should be ready to contribute the moment he puts on the Seahawks uniform.
Round 2, Pick 58: Chase Bisontis, OG, Texas A&M
Bisontis is a very interesting football player. You would expect him to be a mauling presence on the interior at 6-6 and 320 pounds, but his best attribute is as a pass blocker from his guard position. While there is an interesting conversation about whether that is a good thing or not, playing in a heavy passing league makes Bisontis very valuable. With how poorly Anthony Bradford has been playing inside at guard, Bisontis could win a starting spot very early in his career.
Round 3, Pick 92: Tyreak Sapp, EDGE, Florida
It hasn’t quite been the season that Sapp wanted, but he is still a physically gifted defensive end with a really appealing floor. He has a lot of upside as a run defender, possessing strong hands, good lower body power, as well as awareness as a player. While his pass rush impact is somewhat limited, Sapp could very well become a good performer on passing downs as well. There is a world where Sapp becomes a solid starter, but should at least be a very good rotational piece.
Round 6, Pick 208: Treydan Stukes, CB, Arizona
It feels like Stukes has been forgotten in this 2026 draft class, but he could conceivably go quite a bit higher than this. Despite having outside cornerback skills, the Arizona standout has spent the majority of his time in the nickel. There is a chance he could get some opportunities on the outside or serve as a versatile depth piece who can play several different positions. Stukes feels like a player that the Seahawks would value tremendously.
