The Tennessee Titans came into Week 14 with an embarrassing title: only team in the NFL without an opening drive touchdown in 2025.

But on the opening drive of Week 14, in snowy and windy Cleveland, Tennessee finally put it all together and joined the club.

Titans score their first opening-drive touchdown of the year

Things got off the a great start out of the gate for Tennessee when Chimere Dike returned the opening kickoff for 41 yards. Cam Ward and company took over right around midfield and marched to the endzone on an 8 play, 53-yard drive.

Only five of the 53 yards came on the ground, and Ward converted two critical third downs to keep the drive rolling. A 3rd & 10 pass in the flat to Tyjae Spears went for 34 yards with strong blocking downfield, and a great 3rd & 6 snag by Chig Okonkwo on a pass outside of his frame went for 9. The drive was capped off with a 14 yard touchdown pass between fellow rookies Cam Ward and Elic Ayomanor.

In this slop-fest of a matchup, 2026 NFL draft positioning is up for grabs. According to ESPN Analytics, If the Browns lose, their odds to land the first overall pick goes from 7.5% to 14%. A win drops them to less than a 1% chance.

The Titans come into the game with 47.5% odds to land the top pick, by far the best in the league. A loss raises those odds to 66%, and a win drops them to 29%.
