SANTA CLARA — The Tennessee Titans fell to 2-12 to the San Francisco 49ers (10-4) in Week 15 by a score of 37-24. The latest loss came one week after Tennessee won for only the second time this season on the road against the Cleveland Browns (3-11).

Losing to San Francisco was not a surprise as a 12.5-point road underdog, but it keeps one of the most embarrassing streaks in the NFL alive and well.

Titans streak without consecutive wins is a football travesty

Tennessee has not won back-to-back games since November 17, 2022.

1,091 days have passed since the Titans went to Lambeau Field for a Thursday Night Football game against the Green Bay Packers. A 7-3 Tennessee team dropped Green Bay to 4-7. Mike Vrabel was still the coach, Ryan Tannehill the quarterback and Derrick Henry wore two-tone blue instead of purple and black.

The football world was a very different place.

Only the Indianapolis Colts franchise own a more humiliating streak. Indianapolis has not won a game in Jacksonville against the Jaguars since 2014. The Titans have two such monkeys on their back, however.

Not only does Tennessee not win consecutive games, they have not beaten a team in Nashville at their home stadium since November 4, 2024.

No end in sight for the local “professional” football team.
