Bills Final Injury Report: Josh Allen and the offense get the news they’ve been waiting for, and it couldn’t have come at a better time
Week 16 just got a whole lot more interesting for the Buffalo Bills.
Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has already ruled out a handful of players for the upcoming Week 16 showdown against the Cleveland Browns.
While speaking on WGR550 on Friday morning, McDermott ruled out offensive tackle Chase Lundt and confirmed that both defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and kicker Matt Prater would all be inactive on Sunday. The team was forced to bring in some emergency reinforcements in Prater’s absence, signing kicker Michael Badgley to the team’s practice squad.
Of course, the biggest names to keep an eye out for this week are those of tight end Dalton Kincaid and cornerback Christian Benford. Kincaid popped up on the injury report with a knee injury, having fans fear the worst that he would be inactive on Sunday.
McDermott emphasized that both players are trending in the right direction. For Kincaid, McDermott said the team is just trying to be smart and confirmed that the talented pass catcher would be practicing after missing the past two days.

Observations
The week was filled with some less-than-ideal surprises from One Bills Drive. With Kincaid randomly popping up on the report after no word from McDermott early in the week, and then on Thursday having three players pop up on the report, it gave fans cause for concern.
What exactly is going on at practice that so many players are getting hurt?
Despite some less-than-desirable news earlier in the week, the Friday injury report gave fans a big reason to celebrate. It seems that Benford and Kincaid will be a full-go after logging a full practice on Friday.
Hardman and Lewis have a designation of questionable for Sunday, though don’t be surprised if you see Hardman in action after having a few full days of practice this week.
While the injury report looked ugly earlier in the week, the Bills appear to have dodged the worst-case scenario when it matters most. With Kincaid and Benford trending toward playing, Buffalo will head into Cleveland relatively intact and with some of its key contributors ready to go.
For a team with plenty of postseason stakes on the line, that’s about as good news as Bills Mafia could have hoped for heading into Sunday.
