47 Hears Foundation partners with Kids Escaping Drugs
Benford’s organization, 47 Hearts Foundation, partnered with Kids Escaping Drugs to give back in a big way ahead of Christmas. Benford went to Hamlin Park School and surprised each student with a bag filled with four or five gifts from their Amazon wish lists. Benford called each student up one at a time to give them their gifts.
“It’s a blessing. Something you always dream of,” Benford said. “It’s something bigger than money, it’s something bigger than playing football on Sunday, honestly.”

Constantly, you hear players doing something in the community or giving back in a big way, and this example with Benford was no exception.
“It made my week, made my month, made my year. Stuff like this makes me happier than scoring touchdowns or getting interceptions,” Benford said.
