Former Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman part of CBS Sports broadcast crew for Week 18’s game vs. Las Vegas Raiders
A familiar face will be in the CBS broadcast booth for the Kansas City Chiefs – Las Vegas Raiders game in Week 18.
The Kansas City Chiefs will have a familiar face up in the CBS broadcast booth for the Week 18 regular-season finale against the Las Vegas Raiders.
No, we’re not talking about former Chiefs QB Trent Green. CBS Sports actually employs another former K.C. player on its broadcast team, and he’s set to call his first-ever Chiefs game on Sunday afternoon.
Former Chiefs OL Kyle Long will be on the call for Week 18 vs. the Raiders
One-time Chiefs offensive lineman Kyle Long will provide color commentary during the Week 18 game against the Raiders. A former first-round pick by the Chicago Bears in the 2013 NFL Draft, Long played for the Chiefs during his final season in the NFL in 2021, but actually joined CBS as an in-studio analyst in 2020 before he decided to come back for that final ride with Kansas City. Chris Lewis will be the play-by-play announcer, and Tiffany Blackmon will be the sideline reporter for the game.
Long recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to react to the news that he’d be calling the game.
“I can’t wait to call the Chiefs @ Raiders this weekend,” he wrote. “Who’s gonna be tuning in? I have good connections to both programs, so it’s gonna be a lot of fun.”
Long played for the Chiefs, but is the son of Raiders legend Howie Long, which gives him a unique tie to both clubs, as he says.
Chiefs vs. Raiders Week 18 broadcast map
Will you be able to watch that game on TV? If you live in the yellow areas on the map below, you’ll get this game on your local CBS channels, according to 506sports.com:

With star players for both clubs on injured reserve and nothing left to play for in the 2025 NFL season, it’s no surprise that few markets will get the Chiefs-Raiders game on Sunday afternoon on CBS. What might come as a surprise is that this is the smallest TV broadcast footprint for the Chiefs since Andy Reid arrived as the team’s head coach in 2013. It’s a real wake-up call for the team, which has been a golden goose for NFL broadcast partners in recent years.
