The Minnesota Vikings finished the season with a five-game winning streak, and their best player was arguably kicker Will Reichard. He was awarded the NFC Special Teams Player of the Month.

Reichard has been one of the best kickers in the NFL this season, and his play at the end of the season stood out in a major way.

Will Reichard named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month

Reichard was tremendous on the season, and even better during the month of December. He missed just two kicks all season, both of which were from 50+ yards, and both of those potentially hit sky cam cables.

During the month of December and into January, Reichard made all 24 kicks, including 12 field goals. Of those, he also made all three 50+ yard field goals. On the season, he made 11-13 field goals from 50+ yards, including becoming the first kicker in NFL history to make four field goals from 59+ yards.

Reichard becomes the ninth Vikings player to win Special Teams Player of the Month.
