Colts player shows off star power in new project alongside Oscar winning actor and 2 former players make a hilarious cameo
Colts star player got the opportunity to work with an Oscar-winning actor in a new Super Bowl LX commercial.
The moment the Indianapolis Colts landed corner Sauce Gardner via trade, he became one of their biggest stars.
Due to his play on the field at the college and pro levels, Gardner has created many opportunities off the field over the years. One that comes to mind was his partnership with Buffalo Wild Wings, which gave him his own sauce for a limited time.
Well, his next endeavor is now clear, as he recently appeared in an Uber Eats ad. An ad featuring an Oscar-winning actor that hilariously incorporated the Colts.

Sauce Gardner joins Matthew McConaughey in a new Uber Eats commercial
Gardner appeared in an ad for Uber’s food delivery company called Uber Eats. He was alongside a legend in the acting world, Matthew McConaughey.
The actor is known from projects such as Interstellar, The Wolf of Wall Street, and his Oscar-winning performance in Dallas Buyers Club.
This is a part of a larger ad campaign being orchestrated by Uber Eats, allowing users to “Build your own Super Bowl commercial.” Through their app, users can answer questions and receive a different commercial. There are over a thousand possible combinations that include Gardner and McConaughey, along with other stars like Bradley Cooper.
Earlier, you saw one of the possible scenes Gardner appears in that he shared on his personal Instagram account. The ad mentions the Colts by name and incorporates two former players Gardner never actually played with in an amusing, clever way.
For a short time, a popular social media meme came from the Colts. The team had Wesley French in at center and Will Fries in at right guard. And the legendary French Fries duo was born.
Neither French or Fries are on the Colts today, but the meme is something sports fans still remember and laugh about. So, having this call back appear in an Uber Eats ad ahead of Super Bowl LX was a hilarious choice by Uber Eats. However, you have to wonder whether either player is also being paid for their name and image being used.
