Pros of Will Lee
- Hyper competitive. Can tell he’s jawing after every rep, takes his lumps and keeps coming back. Ideal attitude and mindset for a press man corner.
- Transitions. Excellent feet and smooth hips for someone with his length. Mirrors underneath routes with ease.
- Uses his length to his advantage. Great hand usage at the line of scrimmage that creates a natural barrier with his dimensions and physclaity.
Cons of Will Lee
- Questionable long speed. Was caught stealing a few times in 2025.
- Hesitation. Can be caught flat-footed or peeking in the backfield when deployed in zone.
- Tackling. Missed more tackles in his jump to the SEC.
Background
A former three sport athlete out of St. Louis, Missouri, Lee attended JUCO and then Kansas State before transferring to the Texas A&M Aggies in 2024. He improved at every level, recording the fifth most pass breakups in the SEC in 2024, and helping lead the Aggies to the College Football Playoff in 2025.
Player Evaluation
Lee may have regressed in the eyes of some evaluators in 2025, but the Aggies’ corner shows dominant physical traits that will translate to the next level. His physicality and length at the line of scrimmage present man coverage ability along the boundary, but his light feet and smooth hips offer slot corner versatility as well. He can be caught flat-footed or peeking in the backfield too often, and you would like to see him trust his footwork and technique more, but the ceiling of a lockdown corner is there.
